Margaret died on 26 September 1997 at Columbia Palmyra Medical Center, Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia, at the age of 89 and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Pinson Hall. She was survived by her sisters, Anne Elizabeth McDaniel, Virginia Holt McDaniel and Beryl Carroll McDaniel.^4,20 Her obituary was in the at Albany Herald on 27 September 1997.²¹ She was buried on 28 September 1997 at Oakview Cemetery, Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia.⁴ She was funeral on 28 September 1997 at Walden Chapel, First Methodist Church, Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia.²⁰

Margaret had been employed as the Office Manager of the Wakeford Insurance Agency until she retired.^4,20 She was a member of the Women's Business and Professional Club and also served as a a past president.²⁰ She was a a member of First Methodist Church church of Albany where she was also a member of the Beulah Wakeford Sapp Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women.^20,4 She was a charter member of the Pink Ladies at the Columbia Palmyra Medical center, Albany.²⁰
