She was named executrix of her husband's will, dated 3 April 1756 and proved 4 May 1756.1 Her own will was dated 26 May 1763 and proved 1 July 1763. It names her daughter-in-law Thankful Lothrop, her granddaughters Hannah, Mary, and Rebecca Lothrop, and her sons Jonathan and Barnabas. Her son Barnabas was named executor.1 She and her husband Barnabas had the following known children: Jonathan (b 28 September 1719, d 9 December 1784), Barnabas (b 29 June 1721, d aft 1756), Samuel (b 5 October 1728), Mary (b 12 March 1747).2

He lived in Barnstable, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts, in the house in which his grandfather had last lived.1 His will was dated 10 February 1747 and proved 26 March 1748. The executor was his grandson John Russel. He left all his slaves to his wife Abigail, with instructions to free a male slave at her death. He also mentioned his granddaughters Abigail, Rebecca, and Martha Russel, and grandsons John and Jonathan Russel.1 He and Abigail had one known child, Mehitabel (b 22 October 1701, d 1747).2
