They were left some meadow land north of Mashapoge Brook.2 They were also named in the will of her mother Mary (Knowles) Lippitt, dated 6 March 1719 and proved 3 February 1720. They were left £20, and a debt of £32 she owed her mother was cancelled.3

He was admitted as a freeman in Rhode Island in 1696.1 He and his wife Rebecca were named in the will of her uncle John Knowles, dated 14 December 1714 and proved 15 October 1716. In 1772 John Lippitt, along with Capt. Benjamin Gorton and Capt. Thomas Greene, was appointed by the general assembly to run a lottery in order to raise $500 for construction of a wharf in Warwick, Kent Co., Rhode Island.1 He and Bethiah had no children.1
