Samuel Robinson's roll as one of the men that served at the Battle of Bennington in Bennington Co., Vermont, on 16 August 1777.1 In Bennington he served as surveyor of highways in March 1781, and pound keeper in March 1791.1 In 1792 he sold two acres of land to Jonathan Wentworth.1 He later moved from Bennington to Hartwick, Otsego Co., New York.1
