     John Ewer was baptized on 14 January 1627/28 in Strood, Kent, England.¹ He married Mary Wallen, daughter of Ralph Wallen and Joyce (?).¹ He died before 29 June 1652, when his widow Mary presented the inventory of his estate.¹

     Mary Wallen married first John Ewer, son of Thomas Ewer and Sarah Learned.² She married second John Jenkins on 2 February 1652/53 in Barnstable, Massachusetts.¹

     Nicholas Davis probably married Sarah Ewer, daughter of Thomas Ewer and Sarah Learned, in 1651.¹

     John Clarke probably married Sarah Ewer, daughter of Thomas Ewer and Sarah Learned, before 1676.¹

     Elizabeth Ewer was baptized on 2 October 1631 in Strood, Kent, England.¹ She was buried on 9 April 1641 in Barnstable, New Plymouth Colony.¹

     Thomas Ewer was baptized on 6 February 1633/34 in Strood, Kent, England.¹ He married Hannah (?).¹ He died before 31 May 1667, when his estate was appraised.¹
     He moved to Sandwich, New Plymouth Colony,², where he became prominent among Quakers living there. That caused him many difficulties², and he and his family eventually moved back to Barnstable.²

     Hannah (?) married Thomas Ewer, son of Thomas Ewer and Sarah Learned.¹

     William Learned married first Goodith Gilman on 22 April 1606 at St. Olave in Southwark, Surrey, England.² He married second Jane (?).² He died on 1 March 1645/46 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.²
     He and his wife Goodith came to New England in 1630, initially settling in Charlestown, Massachusetts.² They were admitted to the church there on 6 December 1632.² William was made a freeman on 14 May 1634.² On 10 February 1634/35 he signed a petition to establish the position of selectman in Charlestown, and served as selectman in 1636.² On 26 April 1638 he was listed as a member of a committee in Charlestown that was to begin the process of establishing a set of laws.²
     In a list of landowners in Charlestown taken in 1638, he had seven parcels totaling 69 acres, plus 3 3/4 cow commons.²
     He moved to Woburn, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, in 1640.²
