Duke Frances (of Teck) was born in 1837 in Teck.2,1 He was the son of Alexander (of Württemberg) and Claudine (?)1,2 Duke Frances (of Teck) married Mary Adelaide Hanover, daughter of Duke Adolphus Hanover of Cambridge and Augusta (of Hesse-Cassel), about 1865.2,1 Duke Frances (of Teck) died in 1900.1
Frances's mother Claudine (?) died in 1841.2 Duke Frances (of Teck) became the father of Princess Mary (of Teck) on 26 May 1867.2 Duke Frances (of Teck) became the father of Adolphus II (of Teck) in 1868.2 Duke Frances (of Teck) became the father of Francis (of Teck) in 1870.2 Duke Frances (of Teck) became the father of Alexander Augustus William (of Teck) on 14 April 1874.2 Frances's father Alexander (of Württemberg) died in 1885.1 Frances's daughter was married at wedding of Princess Mary (of Teck) and King George V Windsor of England on 6 July 1893 in St. James Palace, England.2,3 Duke Frances (of Teck) became a widower with the death of his wife, Mary Adelaide Hanover in 1897.1
