Frederick II (of Saxe-Gotha)

Frederick II (of Saxe-Gotha) was born on 28 July 1676 in Gotha, Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha, Thuringia.¹ He married Princess Magdalene Auguste (of Anhalt) on 7 June 1696 in Gotha, Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha, Thuringia.¹ Frederick II (of Saxe-Gotha) died on 23 March 1732 at Altenburg, Gotha, Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha, Thuringia, at age 55.¹ He was buried in March 1732 at Schloss Friedenstein, Gotha, Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha, Thuringia.¹
