Princess Auguste Wilhelmine Luise (of Hesse-Rumpenheim) was born on 25 July 1797 at Schloss, Rumpenheis, Starkenburg, Hesse-Darmstadt.1 She was the daughter of Landgrave Friedrich (of Hesse-Cassel-Rumpenheim) and Princess Karoline Polyxene (of Nassau-Usingen).1 Princess Auguste Wilhelmine Luise (of Hesse-Rumpenheim) was christened on 31 July 1797 in Rumpenheis, Starkenburg, Hesse-Darmstadt.1 She died on 6 April 1889 at St. James Palace, Westminster, Middlesex, England, at age 91.1 She was buried on 13 April 1889 in Kew, Surrey, England.1
