Benjamin Damon was born on 3 June 1760 in Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He was the son of Samuel Damon and Abigail Smith. Benjamin Damon married Mary "Polly" Hosea, daughter of Capt. Robert Hosea and Mercy Churchill, on 15 February 1783 in Amherst, New Hampshire.1 Benjamin Damon died on 11 November 1846 in Amherst, New Hampshire, at age 86.2,3 He was buried in Plot 2, SnowTomb Block, Meadow View Cemetery, Amherst, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.4
