Sarah Odding

Sarah Odding was born on 5 February 1607/8.¹ She was the daughter of George Odding and Margaret Lang. Sarah Odding married Philip Sherman, son of Samuel Sherman and Phillippa Ward, about 1633 in Roxbury, (now Suffolk County), Massachusetts Bay Colony.² Sarah Odding died after July 1681 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island.¹
She became the mother of Eber Sherman in December 1634.^1,2 Sarah Odding became the mother of Sarah Sherman in October 1636.^1,2 Sarah Odding became the mother of Peleg Sherman in May 1638.^1,2 Sarah Odding became the mother of Mary Sherman in November 1639.¹ Sarah Odding became the mother of Edmund Sherman in April 1641.¹ Sarah Odding became the mother of Samson Sherman in April 1642.^1,2 Sarah Odding became the mother of William Sherman in 1643.¹ Sarah Odding became the mother of John Sherman in August 1644.¹ Sarah Odding became the mother of Mary Sherman in 1645.¹ Sarah Odding became the mother of Hannah Sherman in 1647.² Sarah Odding became the mother of Samuel Sherman in 1648.² Sarah Odding became the mother of Benjamin Sherman in 1650.² Sarah Odding became the mother of Phillippa Sherman on 1 October 1652.^1,2 Sarah Odding was an heir in the will of Philip Sherman dated 31 July 1681.²
