Manasseh Kempton was baptized on 26 February 1589/90 in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland, England.2 He was the son of George Kempton.2 Manasseh Kempton married Juliana Carpenter, daughter of Alexander Carpenter and Mrs (?) (?) Carpenter, between 1624 and 1627.3,2 Manasseh Kempton died on 14 January 1662/63 in Plymouth, (now Plymouth County), New Plymouth Colony, at age 72.2
He was a planter.2 He immigrated in August 1623 on the Ship 'Anne'.1 Manasseh Kempton was listed a freeman before 1 January 1632/33.2
