Countess Marie (Jeanne) (of Ponthieu and Montreuil) was born on 17 April 1199 of Aumale, Normandie.1 She was the daughter of Count William II Talvas and Alice of France.2 Countess Marie (Jeanne) (of Ponthieu and Montreuil) married Count Simon II (of Dammartin), son of Count Alberic II of Dammartin and Mathlda of Ponthieu, about 1212 in Aumale, Seine-Maritime, France.1 Countess Marie (Jeanne) (of Ponthieu and Montreuil) died in September 1250 in Normandie at age 51.1
She became the mother of Philippa De Dammartin about 1214.1 Countess Marie (Jeanne) (of Ponthieu and Montreuil) became the mother of Countess Jeanne de Dammartin about 1216.1 Marie (Jeanne)'s father Count William II Talvas died on 6 October 1221.2 Marie (Jeanne)'s daughter was married at wedding of Countess Jeanne de Dammartin and King Fernando III 'The Saint' (of Castile And Léon) in 1237 in Burgos, Spain.2 Countess Marie (Jeanne) (of Ponthieu and Montreuil) became a widow with the death of her husband, Count Simon II (of Dammartin) on 21 September 1239 in Abbeville, Somme, France.1
