Princess Matilda 'Atheling' (of Scotland) was the daughter of King Malcom III (of Scotland) Ceannmor and Saint Margaret (of Scotland).2 Princess Matilda 'Atheling' (of Scotland) was born in 1079 in Dunfermline, Fifeshire, Scotland.1,2 She was baptized on 12 November 1100.3 She married King Henry I "Beauclerc" (of England), son of King William I 'the Conqueror' (of England) and Matilda (of Flanders), on 11 November 1100 in Westminster, London, Middlesex, England.1,2 Princess Matilda 'Atheling' (of Scotland) died on 1 May 1118 in Westminster, Middlesex, England.1 She is also reported to have died on 1 June 1118.2 She was buried in June 1118 at Church Of St Peter, Westminster, Middlesex, England.1
