Goliath (1 Sam 17) was the son of Gittites. Goliath (1 Sam 17) died by King David of Israel in the Valley of Elah.2
Regarding Lahmi (1 Chron 20): 2 Samuel names him Goliath, 1 Chronicles in describing the apparently same event calls him Lahmi, brother of Goliath (1 Sam 17). I am presuming that 1 Chronicles is correct and that 2 Samuel has an error where some words were dropped. I would expect that if he was named Goliath, something would have been done to distinguish this person from the Goliath that David killed much earlier.3,4
