Father | Henry Forbes b. c 1800, d. b 1880 |
Mother | Susan Decker b. c 1802, d. bt 1850 - 1860 |
Three possibilities for the identity of this unknown female in the 1830 census: 1) Elsie Forbes, b. ca 1827 who married Irving Van Horn in Tyre. 2) Rosannah Kittle that Henry lived with in the 1860 census, but a search of the 1850 censuses for any Rosannahs does not yield any support for this. Most likely this is Rosanna Bishop, most likely a neice of Nancy Bishop Decker. 3) Rachael Forbes, 19, married to James M. Lecht, 22, in Galen Jun. 21, 1847. This couple (sp. Leek) are next door to Tobias, so this Rachael is most likely a daughter of Tobias, not Henry. Her married name was Van Horne.
