     He was named in the will of his grandfather John Albro, dated 28 December 1710 and proved 12 January 1712/13. He and his brother John received about 30 acres of land and housing, and if either wanted to sell, he was to sell to the other. If their mother Susannah Anthony (John Albro's daughter) were to outlive her husband, she was to have equal rights to this house and land. He also received a bed and chest.^1,2

     Mary Wickham married Joseph Congdon, son of William Congdon and Mary Brownell, on 27 June 1723.¹
     She and Joseph had the following known children, all born in South Kingstown, Washington Co., Rhode Island: William (b 1 June 1724), Barbara (b 8 or 18 May 1726), Mary (b 28 July 1730), Samuel (b 18 February 1733).²

     Mary (?) married William Congdon, son of William Congdon and Mary Brownell.¹
     She and William had the following known children, recorded at South Kingstown, Washington Co., Rhode Island: Mary (b 5 June 1729), Robert (b 27 January 1733), Sarah (b 9 May 1733 [1735?]).¹

     Elizabeth Sweet was born on 20 February 1701.¹ She was married by Elisha Cole, assistant, to Benjamin Congdon, son of Benjamin Congdon and Frances Stafford, on 22 November 1722 in North Kingstown, Newport Co., Rhode Island.²
     She and Benjamin had the following known children, recorded at North Kingstown, Washington Co., Rhode Island: Elizabeth (b 28 May 1723), Margaret (b 6 November 1727), Benjamin (b 28 November 1730, d bef 1777), Joseph (b 4 [or 11] April 1734), Frances (b 7 [or 17] July 1737), James (b 3 October 1743).³

     Patience Northrup was born in 1705.² She was married, by William Hall, Justice of the Peace, to John Congdon, son of Benjamin Congdon and Frances Stafford, on 16 November 1727 in North Kingstown, Newport Co., Rhode Island.³ She died on 10 February 1800.²
     She and John had the following known children: Mary (b 12 December 1728), Frances (b 1 September 1730), Esther (b 28 July 1733), John (b 21 or 28 February 1735/36, d 3 January 1798), Patience (b 25, 28, or 29 September 1738), Sarah (b 15 August 1741), Abigail (b 21 May 1749 or 1747).⁴

     Martha Wells married Joseph Congdon, son of Benjamin Congdon and Frances Stafford, on 9 January 1728/29.¹
     She and Joseph had the following known children: Freelove (b 28 March 1730), Benjamin (b 28 August 1732), Joseph (b 29 April 1734), James (b 26 April 1738). P. F. Pierce lists children Benjamin, George, Stukely, John, and James.²

     Ann Gifford was born on 5 June 1715.² She was married by Daniel Coggeshall, Justice of the Peace, to William Congdon, son of Benjamin Congdon and Frances Stafford, on 30 March 1732 in North Kingstown, Washington Co., Rhode Island.³ She died on 3 February 1795 at age 79.¹
     She and William had the following known children: Ann (b 28 February 1733 or 29 February 1732), Hannah (b 25 March 1735), William (b 29 December 1736, d 15 March 1815), Frances (b 11 January 1739), James (b 28 March 1741, d 16 February 1829), Patience (b 24 February 1743), Susannah (24 August 1744), Mercy (b 30 April 1747), Stephen (b 17 May 1748), Mary, Dorcas, Yelverton (b 20 January 1754, d 18 October 1754), Sarah (b 19 March 1755). P. F. Pierce lists the first five of these, plus a son Joseph (b 24 February 1743) and a daughter Mercy (b 30 January 1750). He also lists Patience's birth date as 30 April 1746, and does not list Yelverton.⁴

     Mary Vaughn was married by William Spencer, Justice of the Peace, to James Congdon, son of Benjamin Congdon and Frances Stafford, on 30 March 1732 in North Kingstown, Washington Co., Rhode Island.²
     She and James had two known children, Elizabeth (b 26 August 1732) and John (b 5 May 1734).¹

     Mary (?) married James Congdon, son of John Congdon and Mary Smith.¹
     She and James had the following known children: Sarah, Fanny, William, Jonathan, Daniel, James, Anna, Mary, Amy, Rebecca.¹

     Silence Holway was born on 11 August 1722.¹ She married James Congdon, son of James Congdon and Margaret Eldred, on 12 May 1732 in Charlestown, Washington Co., Rhode Island.¹ She died about 1744.¹
     There is obviously an error in either Silence Holway's birth or marriage date. Congdon says that the error is probably in J. O. Austin's Genealogical Dictionary of Rhode Island, from which the dates were taken.¹

     Elizabeth Pike was married by John Hicks, Justice, to James Congdon, son of James Congdon and Margaret Eldred, on 30 January 1745.¹

     James Congdon III was born on 23 July 1732 in Charlestown, Washington Co., Rhode Island.¹

     Benjamin Congdon was born on 23 October 1733 in Charlestown, Washington Co., Rhode Island.¹

     Margaret Congdon was born on 7 June 1735 in Charlestown, Washington Co., Rhode Island.¹

     Gideon Congdon was born on 10 March 1737 in Charlestown, Washington Co., Rhode Island.¹
