     Walter Goodwin Davis does not include this Richard Gould as a son of Richard Gould (b c 1578), saying "The family genealogy names a fourth son, Richard, but gives no evidence whatever for his inclusion."²

     He lived in Bovingdon, Hertford, and in Stoke Mandeville, Bucks, England.¹ His will was dated 4 December 1558 in Stoke Mandeville, Bucks, England, and proved 10 October (1559?). In it he expressed his desire to be buried at Bovingdon.¹

     Henry Gould was born about 1555.² He married Alice (?).² He died between 3 January 1603 when his will was made, and 10 April 1603 when it was proved.²
     He lived at Berkhampstead St. Mary (also known as Northchurch), England.²

     Jane (?) married first (?) Weeden.¹ She married second Richard Gold, son of Thomas Goolde.¹ She died between 26 June 1559 when her will was made, and 29 March 1560 when it was proved.¹
     Her will was dated 26 June 1559 in Stoke Mandeville, Bucks, England, and proved 29 March 1560. In it she made bequests to her son William and three unnamed daughters. The Gould genealogy, apparently based on her will, says that she was "probably a second wife of Richard, and not the mother of his children."¹

     Alice (?) married Henry Gould, son of Richard Gold.¹

     Henry Gould was born about 1573.² He married Mary Russell.² He died on 29 July 1615.²
     He lived at Chalfont St. Giles, owned land in Chesham and Iver, and was lord of the manor of Brudenells.² He and Mary had the following known children: William, John (b 1594, d 1623), Henry (d 1644), Anne, Katharine, Elizabeth.²

     Thomas Goolde was probably born about 1500.¹ He married Alice (?).¹ He died between 28 June 1546 when his will was made, and 23 November 1547 when it was proved.¹
     He lived in Bovingdon, Hertford, England.¹

     Alice (?) married Thomas Goolde, son of Richard Gowle and Joan (?).¹

     Thomas Golde was born about 1521.¹ He married Alice (?).¹ He died between 3 February 1560/61 when his will was made, and 16 April 1561 when it was proved.¹

     Joan Goolde was born before 1528 (she was of age in 1546).¹

     Agnes Goolde was born before 1528 (she was of age in 1546).¹

     Elizabeth Goolde was born between 1528 and 1537 (she was not yet 18 in 1546).¹

     Bridget Goolde was born after 1528 (she was not yet 18 in 1546).¹

     John Goolde the younger was born about 1538.¹

     Alice (?) married Thomas Golde, son of Thomas Goolde and Alice (?).¹

     John Gould was born before 1539.¹ He married Alice (?).¹ He died between 2 November 1602 when his will was made, and 20 November 1602 when it was proved.¹

     Elizabeth Golde married (?) Patrick.¹
