He's will was dated 15 November 1678 in co. Kent, England, and proved 27 November 1681. His wife Mary was to have the use of his personal estate for the education and raising of their children. She also was left his lands in Lingstead, co. Kent, for use during her lifetime. At her death the lands were to go to his son Benjamine, but not until he reached age 24. His son-in-law John Bradford was left 1s., and his daughter Jane, wife of John Bradford, was to receive 5s. per year for life, plus £5 after becoming a widow. His daughter Elizabeth was to receive £80 at age 20.1

He's will was dated 5 May 1577 in co. Kent, England, and proved at Lenham on 11 October 1577. He left legacies to his wife Avysse, daughter Annys, and sons John and Robert. His wife received his tenement at Steden strete, where he was then living, including a barn and six acres of land, plus two other tracts of land in Haryetsham, for a period of 13 years. After 13 years, or at her death, the property was to go to his son John. His son Robert received the messuage where he (Robert) was then living, plus the rest of his lands, etc., in co. Kent. His daughter Annys received a share of his goods and cattle, including some specific pewter, and £10 to be paid by his son Robert when she reached age 21. The estate was inventoried at £15 9s. 6d.1
