He lived in Leneham, co. Kent, England.1 His will was dated "5 Jan 1483/84" in co. Kent, England, and proved on 17 March 1483/84. He left his messuage and garden in Tenham, along with a marsh and three acres of land, to his son John during his wife's lifetime. At her death it was to go to his son Thomas. He left his son Robert his messuage in Leneham, with two acres of land. His wife Margaret received use of his house at Leneham for eight years after his death. His moveables were to be split evenly between his wife and three sons.1

He lived in Lenham parish, in the Diocese of Canterbury, co. Kent, England.1 His will was dated 30 December 1522 in co. Kent, England, and proved 4 February 1522/23. He left his home messuage and goods to his wife Johane for her use during her lifetime. At her death it was to go to his daughter Isabell, who also received another messuage. His brother John Henkle was an overseer of the will.1

He was a tailor.2 His will was dated 15 March 1587/88 in co. Kent, England, and proved on 9 April 1588. He left £10 each to his daughters Susanna, Sara, Mary, Elizabeth, Katherine, and Judythe, and £5 to his daughter Rebecca, to be paid at age 20 or at their marriage. His son John was left £10, to be paid at age 21. The remainder of his estate was left to his wife Christian, who was also named executrix. The will also notes that he held a mortgage on land owned by his brother (in-law?) Richard Glove, for which he receives £6 a year, with the principal of £60 due at the feast of St. John the Baptist in 1589. The inventory of the estate totaled £66 13s. 4d.2

Her oral will was made 12 August 1597 in co. Kent, England. Her son-in-law William Pittocke was appointed administrator of her estate on 27 September 1597, and the will was proved on 13 April 1598. She left £20 to her son John, plus the £10 he was left by his father, to be paid from the £60 her brother(in-law?) Richard Glover had from a mortgage on his land. The remaining £30 was to be equally divided between her daughters Susan, Marie, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Katherine, and Judeth, and her son-in-law George Iddenden. Her household goods were to be divided among her daughters Susan, Marye, Rebecca, Katherine, and Judith, her daughter Elizabeth having already received her share. The estate was valued at £75 18s. 6d.2
