     Based on his father's service during King Philip's War in 1675, John Bixby claimed land at Souhegan West (later Amherst), Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire, that was granted by the Genereal Court to survivors of the war, or their representatives, in 1728.1

     Joseph Bixby was born on 5 March 1695/96 in Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He married Experience Frost, daughter of Thomas Frost and Rebecca Farley, on 12 June 1723.2 He died 26 or 28 Aug 1761.2
     He was a farmer in Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2 In May and June 1717 his siblings quitclaimed to him their father's homestead in Andover.2

     Experience Frost was born on 26 March 1698.2 She married Joseph Bixby, son of Daniel Bixby and Hannah Chandler, on 12 June 1723.2 She died on 9 September 1757 at age 59.2

     Nathaniel Bixby was probably born on 1 March 1693 in Boxford, Essex Co., Massachusetts. (The date is from the Bixby manuscript and the year is unreadable, but was probably 1693 based on his baptism date.)1 He was baptized on 16 July 1693 in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He died on 9 March 1702/3 in Boxford, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 10.1
