He worked for the Diamond Match Co. in White Pigeon, St. Joseph Co., Michigan, and in Plattsburg, Clinton Co., New York, for thirty years.1 In 1956 he moved to Palatka, Putnam Co., Florida, where he worked for the Hudson Pulp & Paper Co.1 After retiring he and his family moved to Daytona Beach, Volusia Co., Florida.1
