She was executrix of her first husband Caleb Letton's will, dated 21 April 1759, and was left the slaves Old Outry and his wife Sue, Young Outry, and a girl Dinah; a share of the corn, grain, and tobacco crops; the household goods; and half of the plantation, containing 186 acres.3
Her own will was dated 25 July 1787 in Montgomery Co., Maryland. She left five shillings "and no more" to her son John's heirs and to her daughter Johanna. Her son Michael was left the slave Bartrey. Her granddaughter Elizabeth Richards was left one bed and furniture. The rest of her estate was to be divided equally between the children of her son Michael and the children of her son-in-law Benjamin Summers. Her son Michael and grandson John Litton Summers were named as executors.4
