     Joseph Hayden was born on 17 November 1711 in Hayden (the Grant genealogy actually says "Haydens," presumably an error), Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹ He married Esther Grant, daughter of Nathaniel Grant and Bethia Warner, on 12 June 1739.¹ He died on 26 February 1782 (the Grant genealogy actually says 1781/82) at age 70.¹
     He settled in Narwinton, Connecticut, by 1737.¹ He and Esther had the following known children: Esther (b 27 April 1741), Joseph (b 7 December 1742, d 4 May 1807), Sarah (b 21 November 1743, d 11 March 1828), Samuel (b 6 January 1746, d 1828), Benaiah (d 15 September 1776).²

     Jonathan Grant was born on 18 August 1713 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.² He died on 10 September 1713 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.²

     Mary Ladd was born on 6 February 1720.¹ She married Jonathan Grant, son of Nathaniel Grant and Bethia Warner, on 9 July 1741.¹ She probably died on 27 May 1811 in Ellington, Tolland Co., Connecticut, at age 91.¹
     She and her husband Jonathan lived in Ellington, Windham Co.      Benjamin Brown was born on 11 August 1711 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹ He married first Hannah Grant, daughter of Nathaniel Grant and Bethia Warner, on 19 October 1743 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹ He married second Mary (?) on 12 June 1760.¹
     He and his first wife Hannah had the following known children: Hannah (b 2 March 1744/45, probably d 19 October 1825), Jerusha (b 17 November 1746), Benjamin (b 20 December 1748), Sarah (b 4 July 1751), Joseph (b 25 May 1753), Kezia (bap 11 January 1756), Aaron (bap 10 December 1758).²

     Mary Skinner was born on 26 December 1695 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹

     Joseph Skinner was born on 30 April 1698 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹ He married Esther Drake on 21 August 1718.¹ He died on 19 January 1756 at age 57.¹

     Abigail Smith was born on 22 June 1706.¹ She married Daniel Skinner, son of Joseph Skinner and Mary Grant, on 6 March 1727/28.¹ She died on 18 January 1795 at age 88.¹
     She was probably the daughter of John Smith and Abigail Rockwell.¹ She and her husband Daniel lived in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut,¹ and had fifteen children.¹

     Elizabeth Skinner was born on 21 October 1706 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹

     Abijah Skinner was born on 9 April 1709 in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.¹ He may have died on 8 March 1793 at age 83.¹

     Ann (?) was born about 1707 (she died in her 47th. year).¹ She married Thomas Skinner, son of Thomas Skinner and Sarah Grant.¹ She died on 20 October 1753.¹

     Noah Skinner was born on 27 February 1707/8.¹
     He lived in Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut,¹ and had one son.¹

     Ezekial Skinner was born on 26 June 1710.¹ He died on 26 December 1726 at age 16.¹

     Anna Skinner was born on 12 August 1712.¹ She married Jonah Loomis, son of Hezekiah Loomis and Mary Porter, on 19 June 1734 (or 17 June 1734).¹ She died on 23 November 1748 at age 36.¹
     She and her husband Jonah lived in East Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut,¹ and had eight children.¹

     Jonah Loomis was born on 1 April 1705.¹ He married Anna Skinner, daughter of Thomas Skinner and Sarah Grant, on 19 June 1734 (or 17 June 1734).¹ He died on 23 November 1763 (or 24 November 1763) at age 58.¹
     He and his wife Anna lived in East Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut,¹ and had eight children.¹
