He and his wife Hannah lived in East Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut.2 In 1720 he was the "wealthiest man in the town." He was part owner of a ship, and was a member of the group that owned the town of Torrington, Connecticut.2 He also served as constable, selectman, and leather inspector.2

He lived in East Windsor, Hartford Co., Connecticut,1 and moved to Stonington, New London Co., Connecticut, in 1695.1 He served as constable, tythingman, lister (tax records), and tax collector.1
He and his wife Rebecca joined the church in Stonington in 16991, and in 1727 were dismissed to form the church in North Stonington.1
