     Mercy Chickering was born on 10 April 1648.¹

     John Fiske was born on 29 August 1638.¹ He died in "infancy ae. 9."¹
     The Fiske genealogy says he was born in Finshall (co. Norfolk, England), but this is impossible unless his birth date or his parents' emigration date is wrong.¹

     Nathaniel Fiske was born in England.¹ He died as an infant about 1637, "quickly after he came ashore" in Massachusetts.¹

     John Fiske married Lydia Fletcher in 1666.¹ He died in 1700 without issue.¹
     His birth place is given as New England on p. 52 of the Fiske genealogy (which would put his birth date in 1637 or later), but as England on p. 56 (which would put his birth date in 1637 or earlier).¹

     Lydia Fletcher married John Fiske, son of John Fiske and Anne Gippes, in 1666.¹

     Sarah Fiske was baptized on 26 July 1640.¹ She married John Farwell.¹

     John Farwell married Sarah Fiske, daughter of John Fiske and Anne Gippes.¹

     Moses Fiske was born on 22 April 1642 in Wenham, Essex Co., Massachusetts.² He was married first, by Capt. Daniel Gookin, to Sarah Symmes, daughter of William Symmes, on 9 September 1671.² He was married second, by Samuel Sewall, to Ann Shepard, daughter of Thomas Shepard, on 7 January 1701.² He died on 10 August 1708 at age 66.²
     In 1666 Moses Fiske was made a freeman in Dover, New Hampshire.² He served as minister in Woronoco (now Westfield), Hampshire Co. (now Hampden Co.), Massachusetts, from 1668 to 1671.² On 23 November 1671 he was named by the County Court as the pastor of the church in Braintree (now Quincy), Suffolk Co. (now Norfolk Co.), Massachusetts, to serve until the church, which had unable to agree on a new minister after the death of Rev. William Thompson, named a permanent pastor. The church voted to elect him as the permanent replacement on 5 May 1672. He accepted on 18 August, was formally ordained on 11 September 1672, and served until his death in 1708.²

     He and his second wife Ann had two known children, Shepard (b 19 April 1704, d 14 June 1779) and Margaret (b 16 December 1705).²

     Ann Fiske was born on 15 January 1646.¹ She married John Brown.¹ She died on 30 May 1681 at age 35.¹
     She and her husband John lived in Reading, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.¹ They had one known child, Ann (b 1678).¹

     Eliezur Fiske was baptized on 14 February 1647.¹ He died young.¹

     Ann Shepard was born on 13 September 1663.¹ She married first Daniel Quincy.¹ She was married second, by Samuel Sewall, to Moses Fiske, son of John Fiske and Anne Gippes, on 7 January 1701.¹ She died in July 1708 at age 44.²
     She and her second husband Moses had two known children, Shepard (b 19 April 1704, d 14 June 1779) and Margaret (b 16 December 1705).¹

     Mathias Candler was born about 1604.¹ He died in 1663.¹
     He received a bachelor's degree from Trinity College at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1623/24¹, and a master's degree from Peterhouse College, Cambridge, in 1628.¹ He was ordained as a deacon and priest in Norwich, co. Norfolk, on 18 December 1625¹, and was appointed vicar of Coddenham, co. Suffolk, in 1629, serving until 1662.¹
     He was the compiler of the "Candler Manuscripts," a pedigree beginning with his gg-grandfather Richard Fiske.¹

     John Candler was born in 1607.¹

     Anne Candler died young.¹

     Mary Candler died young.¹
