In 1666 Moses Fiske was made a freeman in Dover, New Hampshire.2 He served as minister in Woronoco (now Westfield), Hampshire Co. (now Hampden Co.), Massachusetts, from 1668 to 1671.2 On 23 November 1671 he was named by the County Court as the pastor of the church in Braintree (now Quincy), Suffolk Co. (now Norfolk Co.), Massachusetts, to serve until the church, which had unable to agree on a new minister after the death of Rev. William Thompson, named a permanent pastor. The church voted to elect him as the permanent replacement on 5 May 1672. He accepted on 18 August, was formally ordained on 11 September 1672, and served until his death in 1708.2
He and his first wife Sarah had the following known children: Mary (b 25 August 1673), Sarah (b 22 September 1674), Martha (b 25 November 1675, d 28 November 1675), Anna (b 17 August 1677, d 9 June 1678), Ann (b 29 October 1678), Elizabeth (b 9 October 1679), John (b 29 May 1681, d 5 August 1681), Moses (b 19 July 1682), John (b 26 November 1684, d 18 May 1773), William (b 2 August 1685), Samuel (b 19 February 1687, d 4 March 1687), Samuel (b 6 April 1689, d 7 April 1770), Ruth (b 24 March 1692 (sic; perhaps 1691/92?), d 6 June 1692), Edward (b 20 October 1692, d 25 October 1692).3
He and his second wife Ann had two known children, Shepard (b 19 April 1704, d 14 June 1779) and Margaret (b 16 December 1705).2

He received a bachelor's degree from Trinity College at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1623/241, and a master's degree from Peterhouse College, Cambridge, in 1628.1 He was ordained as a deacon and priest in Norwich, co. Norfolk, on 18 December 16251, and was appointed vicar of Coddenham, co. Suffolk, in 1629, serving until 1662.1
He was the compiler of the "Candler Manuscripts," a pedigree beginning with his gg-grandfather Richard Fiske.1
