In his will he mentions his eldest daughter Mary Kellam, his daughter Alice Cosbie, and grandchildren William and Ezechial Tomson. One would think that this would indicate that his daughter Mary had not been married, and that either: (1) his daughter Alice had previously been married to a man named Tomson, or (2) that he had another daughter, probably dying before 1631, who had married a man named Tomson. However, the will of William Thomson, dated 1 November 1619 and proved 22 January 1619(/20), mentions his wife Mary, sons William and Edward, and daughter Mary, and names Henry Kilham of Denyngton as one of the executors. Perhaps Henry Kilham's daughter Mary had married William Thomson, and reverted to her maiden name after his death.2
His oral will was proved on 3 June 1631. He left his desk to his daughter Mary Kellam, his featherbed and chest, with the linens in it, to his daughter Alice Cosbie, and all his clothing to his son Austin Kellam. His son Robert Kellam, who was named executor, was left his lease. He also left legacies to his grandchildren Daniel Kellam, Alice Kellam, Henry Kellam, William Tomson, and Ezechiel Tomson.2
