Wagner, Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Zions Church, to Marie Pauline Froehlich, daughter of Johann Froehlich and Wilhelmina Hackbarth, on 3 May 1902 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.⁴ He died on 13 April 1939 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at age 62.³ He was buried on 17 April 1939 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park, Cook Co., Illinois.³
