     Joshua Tripp was born on 15 March 1736 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² He married first Sarah Wilkeson, intentions published on 6 January 1756 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² He married second Sarah Earle on 27 November 1796 in Westport, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² He died before 15 March 1816, when his estate was inventoried.²
     He and his second wife Sarah Earle had the following known children: Oliver C. (b 17 May 1797), Elizabeth (b abt 1800, d August 1848), Elias P.²

     Daniel Tripp was born on 19 October 1741 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² He married Hannah Potter, daughter of Nathaniel Potter and Mary Devol, on 1 July 1764 in Tiverton, Newport Co., Rhode Island.²
     He and Hannah had the following known children: Desire (b 18 April 1765), Luthan (b 6 August 1767), Susannah (b 15 April 1769), Tillinghast (b abt 1771, d 22 July 1836), Amy (b 23 May 1782).²

     Rachel Tripp was born on 9 June 1744 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² She married John Case, son of Isaac Case and Alice (?), intentions published on 17 September 1744 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² She died on 18 September 1822 ("18 9mo 1822") in New Bedford, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, at age 78.²
     She and John had the following known children: Allen, Daniel, Alice, Mary, Caleb.²

     She and Daniel had the following known children: Desire (b 18 April 1765), Luthan (b 6 August 1767), Susannah (b 15 April 1769), Tillinghast (b abt 1771, d 22 July 1836), Amy (b 23 May 1782).¹

     John Case was born on 12 May 1724 in Little Compton, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married as his third wife Rachel Tripp, daughter of Caleb Tripp and Elizabeth Soule, intentions published on 17 September 1744 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ He died before 6 May 1788, when his will was proved.¹
     He had been married twice previously, to Anne Hicks (intentions published 23 August 1755 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts) and to Rachel Allen (intentions published 15 July 1757 in Dartmouth).¹
     In his will, proved on 6 May 1788, he mentioned his wife Rachel and 13 children. A dower was ordered to be reserved in March 1791, and the estate was declared insolvent on 1 May 1792.¹
     He had eight children with his second wife Rachel Allen¹, and five (Allen, Daniel, Alice, Mary, Caleb) with his third wife Rachel Tripp.¹

     Reuben Waite was born on 7 February 1713 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married first Rebecca Soule, daughter of Jacob Soule and Rebecca Gifford, about 1736.¹ He married second Rebecca Tripp on 7 March 1744/45 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ He died before 16 September 1757, when his estate was inventoried.¹

     Jeremiah Waite was born on 17 October 1737.² He married Patience Kirby, daughter of Recompense Kirby and Rebecca Cornell, on 29 December 1754 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.²
     On 25 July 1763 he bought from his sister Phebe and her husband John Kirby their share of the estate of his father Reuben Waite.³
     He and Patience had two known children, Abner (b 17 February 1756) and Reuben (b 28 April 1758, d 8 September 1834).²

     Phebe Waite married John Kirby, son of Ichabod Kirby and Rachel Allen, on 11 January 1755 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.²
     On 25 July 1763 she and her husband John Kirby sold to Jeremiah Waite their share of the estate of Phebe and Jeremiah's father Reuben Waite.² She and John had the following known children: Humphrey, Robert, Rebecca.²

     Patience Kirby was born on 4 October 1739 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ She married Jeremiah Waite, son of Reuben Waite and Rebecca Soule, on 29 December 1754 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹
     She and Jeremiah had two known children, Abner (b 17 February 1756) and Reuben (b 28 April 1758, d 8 September 1834).¹

     John Kirby was born on 5 January 1734 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married Phebe Waite, daughter of Reuben Waite and Rebecca Soule, on 11 January 1755 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ He died in Westport, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, between 12 August 1809, when he made his will, and 1 May 1810, when it was proved.¹
     On 25 July 1763 he and his wife Phebe sold to Jeremiah Waite their share of the estate of Phebe and Jeremiah's father Reuben Waite.¹ He and Phebe had the following known children: Humphrey, Robert, Rebecca.¹

     Jane Potter was born on 26 March 1717 ("26 3mo 1717") in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ She married Nathaniel Soule, son of Jacob Soule and Rebecca Gifford, on 22 November 1739.¹ She died on 28 February 1807 in Westport, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, at age 89.¹

     Isaac Sowle was born on 22 August 1742 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married Sarah Merithew, daughter of Preserved Merithew and Sarah Taber, on 29 April 1764 in Tiverton, Newport Co., Rhode Island.¹ He died on 25 June 1791 ("25 6mo 1791") in Westport, Bristol Co., Massachusetts, at age 48.¹ He was buried on the Joseph Soule farm in Westport, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹
     He and Sarah had the following known children, all born in Westport, Bristol Co., Massachusetts: David (b 19 February 1766), Martha (b 28 April 1769, d 11 April 1806), Nathaniel (b 9 October 1772), Lemuel (b 24 December 1774, d 19 April 1775), Phebe (b 26 June 1778, d 20 May 1844).¹

     Ruth Soule was born on 15 October 1746 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² She probably married John Waite, son of Reuben Waite and Rebecca Tripp, on 29 September 1772 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.²
     She and John had the following known children: Reuben (b 21 January 1773, d 30 December 1831), Robert (b abt 1777, d 30 April 1849), Mary (b 30 January 1782).²

     Rebecca Soule was born on 9 October 1757 ("9 10mo 1757") in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² She married George Brightman, son of Thomas Brightman and Juda Manchester, intentions published on 20 April 1776 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.² She died between 12 May 1796, when she was named in a deed, and 1800, when her husband George was listed in the census without a female her age.²
     She and George had the following known children: Mary (d 17 October 1835), Juda (b 2 January 1780, d 17 February 1816), Pardon, William Potter, Christian? (d 7 March 1813), and possibly an additional son and daughter.²

     Sarah Merithew was born on 7 March 1748/49 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., Massachusetts.¹ She married Isaac Sowle, son of Nathaniel Soule and Jane Potter, on 29 April 1764 in Tiverton, Newport Co., Rhode Island.¹ She died on 26 February 1813 ("26 2mo 1813") at age 63.¹
     She and Isaac had the following known children, all born in Westport, Bristol Co., Massachusetts: David (b 19 February 1766), Martha (b 28 April 1769, d 11 April 1806), Nathaniel (b 9 October 1772), Lemuel (b 24 December 1774, d 19 April 1775), Phebe (b 26 June 1778, d 20 May 1844).¹
