     Richard Towne was baptized on 1 January 1737/38 in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He died on 1 February 1738/39 in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 1.1

     Hannah Towne was born on 8 December 1739 in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 She married Daniel Estey, son of Aaron Easty and Esther Richards.2 She died on 26 February 1802 in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 62.1
     She and Daniel had the following known children, all born in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts: Mary (b 28 May 1766, d 1846), Daniel (b 29 May 1768, d 1790), Richard (b 14 February 1771), Enos (b 10 December 1773), Sally (b 12 October 1775), Hannah (b 24 April 1778), Abigail (b 7 November 1780), John (b 28 March 1785).3

     Daniel Estey was born on 4 May 1739 in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2 He married Hannah Towne, daughter of Richard Towne and Hannah Bixby.3 He died on 23 July 1830 in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 91.2
     During the Revolutionary War he was in Joseph Gould's company at the Battle of Lexington on 19 April 1775, and later served in Col. Cogswell's Reg., Capt. Stephen Perkins's Co., enlisting on 22 September 1776, and being discharged on 16 November 1776.2
     He and Hannah had the following known children, all born in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts: Mary (b 28 May 1766, d 1846), Daniel (b 29 May 1768, d 1790), Richard (b 14 February 1771), Enos (b 10 December 1773), Sally (b 12 October 1775), Hannah (b 24 April 1778), Abigail (b 7 November 1780), John (b 28 March 1785).2
