He was the executor of his father's will, dated 15 September 1588 and proved on 11 May 1592, and was to receive whatever remained of the estate after the other legacies were distributed, including the rest of his father's houses and lands.3 He was also left a legacy in his brother John Perkins' will, dated 17 December 1601 and proved on 6 Jun 1601/02 (sic).3
His own estate was inventoried on 22 March 1608/9 by Rowland Wilcox, gent., Thos. Perkins, John Sawbridge, Thos. Compton, and William Burnam, yeomen, and valued at £336 8s 8d. His son Thomas was named administrator of the estate on 5 April 1609, and a bond was posted for the tuition (i.e., Guardianship) of "Margaret, Edward, Anne [Agnes], Sarah, Francis, William, Lucy [Luke], Elizabeth and James [Jacob], 'the other children.4'"

The Sawbridge family originated in the hamlet of Sawbridge, Wolfhamcote parish, Warwickshire, England, about six miles from Hillmorton. Several wills from this family are known, but there is not sufficient evidence to determine who Elizabeth's parents were. See Davis for details.3

On 13 January 1729/30 he was appointed administrator of the estate of his brother-in-law Joseph Cummings, husband of his wife's sister Abigail. Joseph and Abigail had died within a month of each other, in December 1729 and January 1729/30.3

One About Towne newsletter says, apparently erroneously, that this Isaac Easty married Sarah Gould, daughter of Zaccheus Gould and Elizabeth Curtis. The more recently published Towne genealogy says that that Sarah Gould married this Isaac's cousin Isaac Estey, son of Jacob Estey and Lydia Elliott[:SS].2,3

He and his wife Ruth lived for a time in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts,2 but soon moved to Rowley, Essex Co., Massachusetts, where their children were born.2 On 22 October 1748 he bought land in Rowley from Remember and William Wright, that had formerly belonged to James Barker.3
He and Ruth moved to Maugerville, New Brunswick, Canada, about 1763, where they owned as much as 500 acres on the banks of the St. John River.2,3 An early frost ruined the settlement's first crop, causing much suffering. A relief ship arrived late in the season, and kept the people from starving.3
His will was dated 22 April 1787 and proved 17 March 1791 at Sheffield, Sunbury Co., New Brunswick, Canada.3
The Fiske genealogy by Pierce lists a Ruth Fiske, daughter of William Fiske and Mary (?), born 18 October 1709, who married Richard Easti of Topsfield on 7 May 1728. It also lists a Ruth Fiske, daughter of Joseph Fiske and Susannah or Susan Warner, born 20 August 1707, who married first David Kilburn of Rowley on 6 March 1731, and second ___ Esty. Information in the recently published Towne genealogy indicates that it was the second Ruth who married Richard Esty on 7 May 1728. It also states that she did not have a first marriage to Richard Kilburn, and that her mother's surname is unknown.2,4
