After their marriage he and his wife Eunice lived for a time in Suffield, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts (now in Hartford Co., Connecticut).2 He was named as "Moses Esty of Suffield tailor" on 10 January 1744/45, when he sold sixteen acres of land to John Pingilly Jr.2 On 4 November 1745, 17 1/2 acres of land were laid out to him in Somers, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts (now in Tolland Co., Connecticut).3 However, he was still described as being "of Suffield" on 19 July 1748, when he sold sixteen acres with buildings to John Lancton.2
He and Eunice moved to Enfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut, by 31 March 1752, when he recorded ear and tail marks there.2 Seven acres of land were laid out for him in Enfield on 26 January 1757.4
They apparently soon afterwards moved to Bucks City, Pennsylvania,5 then to Huntington, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey, about 1762 ("5 to 6 years later").6
He and Eunice had the following known children: Moses (b 6 April 1737, d young), Eunice (b 19 October 1739, d young), Mary (b 18 February 1741/42, d young), Eunice (b 17 January 1743/44), Sarah (b 26 March 1746), Abigail (b 20 February 1748/49), Moses (b 31 January 1750/51, d as an infant), twins Moses (b 7 January 1751/52, d January 1836) and Hannah (b 7 January 1751/52), Lucie (b 3 January 1754), Rebecca (b 1756-60), Eleanor (b 20 February 1761).2

On 2 April 1681, on the occasion of his marriage to Elizabeth, his father deeded half of the land to him that he had purchased from Philip Cromwell.2

She and her husband Benjamin were admitted to the church in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts, on 28 April 1717.4 They probably moved to Sutton, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, in 1738, as they were dismissed from the church in Topsfield on 5 November 1738, and recommended to the church in Sutton.5,6

He and his wife Alice were admitted to the church in Topsfield, Essex Co., Massachusetts, on 28 April 1717.3 They probably moved to Sutton, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, in 1738, as they were dismissed from the church in Topsfield on 5 November 1738, and recommended to the church in Sutton.4,5
In 1748 he sold land in Sutton to his sons James and Samuel. To his son James, on 31 May, he sold a 16-acre tract "about a mile & a quarter from ye old Meeting House," five acres "in ye northerly corner of my homestead," and 1 1/4 acres "lying in a meadow called Rain Storm Meadow" for £200 old tenor.6 The next day he sold a 60-acre tract "about a mile & a quarter from ye old Meeting House ... ye whole of my home place ... with buildings and fences" to his son Samuel for £500 old tenor.7,8
