Princess Sofie Eleonore (of Saxony)

Princess Sofie Eleonore (of Saxony) was born on 23 November 1609 in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony.¹ She was christened on 17 December 1609 in Dresden, Dresden, Saxony.¹ She married Landgrave Georg II (of Hesse-Darmstadt), son of Landgrave Ludwig V 'The Faithful' (of Hesse-Darmstadt) and Magdalene Margravine (of Brandenburg), on 1 April 1627 at Schloss Zu Torgau, Sachsen, Prussia.¹ Princess Sofie Eleonore (of Saxony) died on 2 June 1671 in Darmstadt, Starkenburg, Hesse-Darmstadt, at age 61.¹ She was buried on 11 July 1671 at Stadtkirche, Darmstadt, Starkenburg, Hesse-Darrmstadt.¹
