.1 He was the son of Jacob Burdg and Miriam Matthews.1 Oliver Burdg married Jane M. Hemingway, daughter of James Hemingway and Hope Malmsbury, on 29 April 1846.1 Oliver Burdg died on 11 June 1908 in Whittier, California, at age 86.1
He became the father of Almira Park Burdg on 16 September 1849.1 Oliver's father Jacob Burdg died on 1 December 1862 near Butlerville, Indiana.1 Oliver's daughter was married at wedding of Almira Park Burdg and Franklin Milhous on 16 April 1879 in Jennings County, Indiana.1 Oliver Burdg became a widower with the death of his wife, Jane M. Hemingway on 5 April 1890 at age 65.1
