Blanche (of Artois) was born about 1248.2 She was the daughter of Prine Robert I of France and Matilda of Brabant.2 Blanche (of Artois) married Earl Edmund Plantagenet, son of King Henry III (of England) and Queen Eleanor (of Provence).1 Blanche (of Artois) married first King Henry I of Navarre, son of King Theobald IV "the Great" of Navarre and Marguerite de Bourbon, in 1269. Blanche (of Artois) died in 1302.3
Blanche's father Prine Robert I of France died on 9 February 1250 Mansoure, Egypt.2 Blanche (of Artois) became the mother of Princess Jeanne (of Navarre) in January 1272.2 Blanche (of Artois) became the mother of Henry Plantagenet in 1281.3 Blanche's daughter was married at wedding of Princess Jeanne (of Navarre) and King Philip IV (of France) "the Fair" on 16 August 1284 in Paris, France.2 Blanche (of Artois) became a widow with the death of her husband, Earl Edmund Plantagenet on 5 June 1296 in Bayonne, Pyrenees Atlantiques, France, at age 51.4 Blanche's mother Matilda of Brabant died on 29 September 1299.2
