He moved to Tampa from his native Auburn, in 1979. Mr. Brechue worked at Seneca Army Depot for over 30 years. He was a devoted parishioner and choir member of St. Patrick"s Catholic Church in Tampa. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Agnes Brechue; and his sons, Paul Brechue Jr. and Steve Brechue, both of Tampa, Fla., Mike Brechue of Daytona, Fla. and Ed Brechue of Auburn; and four grandchildren.      Mary A. Brechue was born on 10 August 1915 at Auburn, Cayuga, New York, USA.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Brechue and Sarah Scranton. Mary A. Brechue married Thomas E. Quigley, son of William Quigley and Mary Bannon, on 31 January 1938. Mary A. Brechue died on 11 February 2003 at age 87.2
     She lived at Owasco St., Auburn/Zephyrhills, Florida, USA.

    A native and lifelong Auburnian, she was born Aug. 10, 1915, the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Scranton Brechue. She retired from The Big Store and in later years, Argersingers Department Store, Auburn. For many years, she had wintered in Zephyrhills, Fla., with her husband, Thomas E. Quigley, who died Nov. 17, 1999.

    She was a member of St. Mary's Church, St. Mary's Rosary & Scapular Society, RSVP and she also volunteered for the Salvation Army. Among her many hobbies, were playing bingo and cards.

    Surviving is one daughter, Nancy M. Westover and her husband Robert of Auburn; one son, Thomas E. Quigley and his wife Joanne of Miami, Fla.; six grandchildren, Laurie Connors, Kris (Mary) Sherahaned, Robert (Mary) Westover, Thomas E. (Donna) Quigley III, Timothy (Carla) Quigley and Jon Westover; four great-grandchildren, Amber Barrow, Taylor Westover, Brooke Sherahaned and Nicole Quigley; brothers, Joseph Brechue of Auburn and Paul (Agnes) Brechue of Tampa, Fla.; sister-in-law, Mary Quigley Hollington of Fayetteville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.


    She was predeceased by her husband; parents; a son, John J. Quigley; and a brother, Louis Brechue.

    A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at St. Mary's Church, Clark Street, Auburn. The funeral Mass will be con-celebrated by the Rev. Robert Schrader, pastor of St. Mary's, and the Rev. James Enright. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum.

    Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, Clark Street, Auburn, NY 13021.
