  REGANTI (MacPherson) Florence It is with deep sadness that we, family of late Florence Reganti, announce her sudden passing on Friday, Nov 01 2019 in Niagara Falls Ontario. Born in Port Hood Jan 31 1934, Florence was daughter of late Tom & Jessie (Cameron) MacPherson, New Waterford. At age 6, Florence & family moved from Port Hood to New Waterford. She was first born of 3 girls & 10 boys. At early age of 18, Florence moved to Niagara Falls where she met and married husband James Reganti. She is survived by 3 sons Anthony (Judy), James (Tracy) & Peter (Maria); 3 granddaughters Taylor, Vanessa & Christine & 2 step-grandchildren Corine & Daryl. All residing in Ontario. Florence is survived by 1 sister & 8 brothers, Gus (late Betty), Hughie (Evelyn), Della-sister-in-law, (late Donald), Anselm (Brenda), Fr. Albert, Sandy (Colena), Fr. Damian, Greg (Donna), Leonard & Joan(Frank). Florence is predeceased by husband James Reganti, sister Baby Jean, brothersDonald and Lawrence, sisters-in-law Donna, Betty & nephews Craig & Derek. Florence worked for Singer Co. in her early years in Niagara. However, her greatest accomplishments were her 3 beautiful boys. For many years, while Florence and Jim raised their family, she ran her own business, excelling as a professional sewer of custom-made draperies for several companies in Niagara region. Florence also found time to devote to Daughters of Isabella Ladies Group at Our Lady of Scapula in Niagara where she was also an active Eucharistic Minister. In her later retirement years, Florence lived at Queenston Place Retirement Home in Niagara for 9 years. It was here, she loved to call home. She so loved staff and residents & they so loved her and her beautiful smile. Her main goal everyday was to make her fellow residents smile. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date @ Parish of St. Leonard. All will be welcomed to come & help us celebrate Florence's life. Never to be forgotten by all family members and friends, especially her longtime best buddy, Phil (MacNeil)Hennessey, presently living in New Waterford, as they nurtured their rooted friendship for over 65 years.
