He and Frances had the following known children: Sarah (unmarried in 1764), Benjamin (unmarried in 1764), Ephraim (d aft 1764), Isaac, Hannah (b abt 1723, d unmarried 1757), Ruth (d infant). Stiles says that this child Ephraim, the son of Ephraim Bancroft and Frances Phelps, was age 82 in 1764. This isn't possible, and must be confused with his father Ephraim, who would indeed have been 82 in 1764.2

In one location, Stiles says that he and Rachel had a daughter Rachel, born 21 August 1723 and died 3 July 1735. In another, he says their daughter Rachel died as an infant.2 His will was proved on 7 July 1755 by his widow Rachel, who was the executrix.3

He was a "Man of Sense and Judgement, yet made his numerous family uneasy & himself unhappy by perpetually finding Fault, tho' he had a notable Wife, a good Economist who consulted his Temper with great Prudence." He was "larger than middling, and pretty plump and round."4 He was a mason and farmer.3 As early as 1716, he resided on the east side of "the Great River," in the part of Old Windsor known in 1895 as Scantic Parish, in East Windsor. In 1716 his estate was valued at £81 16s.3
He and Mary had the following known children: John (b 12 May 1714, unmarried in 1764), Martha (b February 1717), Israel (b 13 September 1719, d 13 September 1794), Mary (b 1720, unmarried in 1764), Benoni (b 1726, d 1760 in the French War), Ann, Elizabeth.3

But, in the errata on p. 731 it says it's actually the death date of Margaret Stiles. However, on p. 86 it explicitly gives Margaret Stiles's death date as about 1726, and their children were born between 1715 and 1726. This date is therefore probably their marriage date.
