The Lovejoy genealogy says that Hannah may have been born in 1705 (which would mean she was just 12 when married), and died "May or July 7, 1774." He owned land along the Boston Road that he purchased for £300 in 1731, in addition to property he had inherited from his father.2 In 1750 he and his wife Susanna moved to Amherst, Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire.2 He is probably the same Benjamin Lovejoy who, with 31 others, signed a petition on 26 June 1753 to incorporate the town.2
