She and Nathan Gilbert were co-executors of her husband's will, dated 27 September 1770 and proved 20 May 1771. She was left £120, half of her husband's land, buildings, household effects, and movables (except for farm tools, notes, and bonds), and his pew in church.1
Her own estate was inventoried 3 October 1772. She left £38 18s each to John, Aaron, Moses, and Joshua Foster, who were probably her brothers. She also left £38 18s to the heirs of Hannah Stiles, who was probably her sister.1

His will was dated 22 October 1745. In it he names his wife Judith (note though that the reported dates of the will and his marriage to Judith Norton are inconsistent), daughters Elizabeth Stiles, Ruth Foster, Mehitable Andrews, and Rebekah Foster, son-in-law Benjamin Porter, and grandson David Foster Porter.1
He and his first wife Elizabeth had one known child, Elizabeth.1

He served in the French and Indian War as a private in Capt. Daniel Brewer's Concord Co. from 10 July to 31 December 1756, and as a private in Capt. In October 1675, Philip, the leader of the Wampanoag Indians, organized the northeast tribes, including the Narragansetts, against the English settlers. In November, John Faulkner was one of 12 Andover men impressed into the militia to oppose them. He served in Capt. Gardiner's Co., which defeated the Indians in the great Swamp fight in Narragansett country on 19 December 1675.1

She was most likely either the daughter of Thomas Johnson and Mary Holt, born in Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts, on 1 January 1678, or the daughter of Robert Gray and Hannah Holt, born in Salem, Essex Co., Massachusetts, on 23 December 1672.1
She and her first husband John lived in Sudbury, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, from 1696 to 1712.1 They lived in Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, after 1712.1 She was appointed administrator of his estate in April 1718.1
Her will was dated 28 May 1747 and proved 18 May 1754. Her heirs were her daughters Jemima Norcross and Hannah Candee (Cady?), and her grandchildren by her daughter Mary Wheeler.1
