     Hannah Foster was born about 1704.¹ She married John Lovejoy, son of Ebenezer Lovejoy and Mary Foster, on 25 June 1722 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.¹ She died on 7 July 1774.¹
     She and John had the following known children, all born in Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts: John (b 5 November 1723, d 5 September 1739), Hannah (b 27 December 1724, d 7 September 1813), Andrew (b 3 March 1728/29, d 6 August 1739), Asa (b 9 or 19 December 1733, d 12 September 1739), Andrew (d young).¹

     Grace Lovejoy was baptized on 9 April 1620 in Sonning, Oxfordshire, England.¹ Circumstantial evidence indicates that she married William Ballard about 1645 in Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts.¹
     The identification of Grace Lovejoy as a sister of John Lovejoy is based on her baptism record in a neighboring parish, with a father of the same name, and the fact that they came to New England together.¹ They emigrated from Caversham, Oxfordshire, England, on the ship Confidence in 1638, as servants in the family of John Stephens.¹ On the passenger list their surname is listed as "Lowgie."¹

     On a tax list dated 10 June 1576 for Newton Tony, Wiltshire, England, Christopher Osgood was assessed 6s 8d for assets worth £4.¹ On 29 June 1605, in a land survey of Newton Tony, he was listed as owning three acres of common land, plus tracts of two acres and four acres in Ballange field.¹ His widow Elizabeth was appointed administrator of his estate in 1607.¹

     Alice (?) married Christopher Osgood, son of John Osgood.¹ She was buried on 16 December 1596 in Newton Tony, Wiltshire, England.¹
