     Mary C. Hart was born on 7 September 1865 in Friendship, Allegany Co., New York.^2,1 She was married by A. S. Ferguson to Frank A. Allen, son of George F. Allen and Susan M. Burlingham, on 31 October 1886 in Otsego, Allegan Co., Michigan.¹ She died on 29 March 1949 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, at age 83.² She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.²
     After their marriage she and her husband Frank lived for a time in Cooper, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan,^3,4 where he was a farmer.³ In 1889 Frank took a position as a baggage man with the Chicago & North Western Railroad (a job he held the rest of his life)^5,6,7,8,9, and the family moved to Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. This must have been a difficult move. Frank went there first, on 10 February 1889, apparently leaving Mary in Cooper with their not quite two-year-old daughter Iva and newborn twins. Tragically, the twins both died less than a week later.⁵
     In 1900 they were living at 427 38th. St. in Chicago. In addition to their children, living with them were Frank's sister Dora Sherman and her husband Bernard, Frank's sister Justie Cook, and a boarder, Edith Ledig.⁶ They were at 5656 Union Ave. in 1910, and living with them were their daughter Iva and her husband William T. Nicholls, their niece Leona M. Heart (probably actually Hart), and Mary's widowed mother Cornelia Huntley.⁷ They were at 527 W. 60th. St. in 1917¹⁰, and at 346 W. 65th. St. in 1920. Their daughter Iva and her husband were still living with them in 1920, along with their two children.⁸
     Mary remained in Chicago after her husband's death, and was at 7519 South May St. in 1930, with her daughter Iva's family still living with her.¹¹ In 1940 she was living with Iva's family at 6547 Yale Ave. in Chicago.¹²

     Bernard Sherman was born in June 1865 in New York.¹ He married Dora B. Allen, daughter of George F. Allen and Susan M. Burlingham, about 1897.¹
     In 1900 he and his wife Dora were living with her brother Frank's family in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois,¹ where he was working as a music clerk.¹

     William E. Cook was born about 1849 in New York.² He married Justina A. Allen, daughter of George F. Allen and Susan M. Burlingham, about 1873 (based on the birth year of their oldest child).^2,3 He died before 1900, when his wife Justina was listed as a widow in the census.¹
     He and his wife Justina were living in Columbus, Warren Co., Pennsylvania, in 1880², where he was working as a carpenter.²

     Louise Mansfield was born in Connecticut.³ She married Worthy Wallace Pratt, son of Stephen Pratt and Margaret Sophia Phelps.^3,1,2 She died before 1900, when her husband Worthy was listed as a widower in the census.⁴
     She also went by the nickname "Lucy."²

     Fern Gertrude Pratt was born in September 1888 in Harrison, Calumet Co., Wisconsin.^1,2 She married Arthur Perry Holt on 29 November 1906 in Stockbridge, Calumet Co., Wisconsin.²
     After their marriage, she and her husband Arthur lived in Stockbridge, Calumet Co., Wisconsin.³ They were living in Kaukauna, Outagamie Co., Wisconsin, in 1920⁴, and in Green Bay, Brown Co., Wisconsin, in 1930.⁵ They had one known child, Ida (b abt 1908).³

     Bessie Pratt was born on 19 October 1890 in Wisconsin.^2,3,1 She married Clarence D. Smith on 15 February 1908 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan.¹ She died on 9 February 1910 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan, at age 19 as a result of exhaustion caused by kurpural (?) dementia.² She was buried on 13 February 1910 in Chilton, Calumet Co., Wisconsin.²

     Clarence D. Smith was born about 1889 in New York.¹ He married Bessie Pratt, daughter of Worthy Wallace Pratt and Louise Mansfield, on 15 February 1908 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo Co., Michigan.¹

     Arthur Perry Holt was born about 1884 in Stockbridge, Calumet Co., Wisconsin.^1,2 He married Fern Gertrude Pratt, daughter of Worthy Wallace Pratt and Louise Mansfield, on 29 November 1906 in Stockbridge, Calumet Co., Wisconsin.¹

     William M. McKee was born in Leroy, Michigan.¹ He married Elsie May Dell, daughter of Charles Archibald Dell and Louisa M. Pratt, on 9 August 1901 in Appleton, Outagamie Co., Wisconsin.¹

     Harold M. Atkin was born about 1907 in Michigan.¹ He married Margaret L. Pratt, daughter of Maurice Elam Pratt and Norma Lydia Shank, about 1929.¹
     He and Margaret had two children, Lawrence Carl (b 11 December 1931) and Marlea (b 30 April 1933).^2,3
