     Tennie E. Gilbert was born on 18 August 1874 (cemetery records say 1877) in Gilmore Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan.^1,3 She was apparently engaged to, but didn't marry, Edward G. Peavey. A license was issued on 2 July 1897 in Benzie Co., Michigan, and later returned.⁴ She was married first, by Benjamin Nurry, Clergyman, to George H. Wilson, son of Charles H. Wilson and Maria S. Hask, on 17 August 1897 in Blaine Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan.⁵ She married second Orin A. Blood, son of Orin Blood and Mary Goodrich, on 18 August 1943 in Elberta, Benzie Co., Michigan.⁶ She died in 1962.³ She was buried at Blaine Township Cemetery (Section A, Lot 7) in Benzie Co., Michigan.³
     She and her first husband George lived in Blaine Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan, from at least 1900 to 1930. George's parents were living with them in 1900, and in 1910 five-year-old Dollie A. Wilson was living with them, possibly a relative but listed in the census as a boarder. His place of birth is somewhat in doubt. His transcribed online birth record says Blaine Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan. The 1900 census and one marriage record (there are two, for the same marriage) say Michigan, and the other marriage record says Manistee, Michigan. However, his entry in the 1910 census lists his and his parents birth places as unknown, the 1920 and 1930 censuses both say Illinois for him and unknown for his parents, and his World War I draft registration lists his birth place as Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois.^{1,3,4,5,6,7,8,2} He was married by Henry E. Rossell to Ethel May Shettler on 3 April 1912 in Benzie Co., Michigan.^4,5 He died on 3 April 1962 at age 71.⁹ He was buried at Blaine Township Cemetery (Section A, Lot 8) in Benzie Co., Michigan.⁹

     Nellie Olivia Gilbert was born about 1865 in Michigan.^2,3 She was married by Oliver Johnson, Justice, to William Harmon Cady, son of Joel Cady and Huldah (?), on 13 June 1883 in Joyfield Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan.^3,4

Loague, daughter of James Loague and Ester Bradley, on 10 August 1891 in Burnham, Manistee Co., Michigan.³ He died in September 1942 at age 75.^5,6 He was buried at Blaine Township Cemetery (Section A, Lot 24) in Benzie Co., Michigan.⁶
     He and his wife Mary were living in Blaine Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan, in 1900 and 1910.^4,7 By 1920 they had moved to Arcadia Twp., Manistee Co., Michigan. Living with them in 1920, in addition to younger children still at home, was their widowed son Claude and three grandchildren.⁸

Osgood, on 10 September 1890 in Manistee, Manistee Co., Michigan.³ He died in 1936.⁶ He was buried at Gilmore Township Cemetery (2nd. Section, Lot 159) in Benzie Co., Michigan.⁶
     In 1900 Cecil Linnette Gilbert and his wife Minnie were living in South Frankfort, Gilmore Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan, with their children Garland, Ethel, and Hazel.⁷ In 1910 they were in Blaine Twp., Benzie Co., with two more children, Erma and Theodore.⁸ They were living on Third St. in Frankfort, Crystal Lake Twp., Benzie Co., in 1920 and 1930. In 1920 their children Garland, Theodore, and Iris were with them, and in 1930 their divorced daughter Erma Willey and her four children were living with them.^9,10

     William Harmon Cady was born on 23 August 1844 (from his death certificate, which is consistent with the 1910 census; however, his marriage record with Nellie Gilbert indicates he was born about 1847, and the 1900 census says August 1856) in Pennsylvania.^1,3,2,4 He married first Julia Alger.⁵ He was married second, by Oliver Johnson, Justice, to Nellie Olivia Gilbert, daughter of Samuel Stevens Gilbert and Martha Olivia Phelps, on 13 June 1883 in Joyfield Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan.^2,3 He died on 9 June 1919 in Blaine Twp., Benzie Co., Michigan, at age 74 from heart disease, with gangrene of his legs and feet as a contributing factor.¹ He was buried on 11 June 1919 at Blaine Township Cemetery (Section A, Lot 6) in Benzie Co., Michigan.^1,6
