He served in the Revolutionary War.2 He and his wife Polly moved from Stephentown, Rensselaer Co., New York, to Windham (now Colesville), Broome Co., New York, in 1815.2 He bought a farm there in 18172, and sold it in 1828.2 He and Polly moved to Greene, Chenango Co., New York, in 1840.2
