Note that it's assumed here that Abigail Brown's mother was Abigail Adams, the second wife of Thomas Brown, although the dates in the White genealogy put her birth before their marriage intentions were published.1

He lived in Exeter, New Hampshire, for a time1, then moved back to Wenham, Essex Co., Massachusetts, about 1718.1 The Descendants of John White says he was living in Ipswich, Massachusetts, in 1784, but died in 1759. Perhaps the 1784 date should be 1748?1 He was a mason.1

On 23 March 1715 her uncle Thomas Fiske and her fiance Thomas Howe's father Thomas Howe entered into a legal agreement involving real estate to be given to her and her fiance when they were married. (She was "brought up" by her uncle, her mother's brother.) Her fiance's father agreed to "settle so much real estate upon his said son as shall equalize any of my other sons for quantity and quality," and her uncle was to give the couple 1/3 of his real estate.3 On 16 December 1724, after her uncle's death, his widow Rebecca sold the remaining 2/3 of this property to her husband Thomas Howe.4,3
Her uncle's will, dated 27 September 1720 and proved 4 March 1723, stipulated that she was to receive all of his real estate after the death of his wife Rebecca.3
She and Thomas had the following known children: Thomas (b 20 June 1716), Mary (b 30 June 1718, d 7 June 1802), Ezekial (b 29 June 1720, d 7 October 1800), Simon (b 28 October 1722, d 26 August 1806), Sarah (b 4 July 1725), Rebekah (b 16 August 1727).5
The Fiske genealogy, apparently mistakenly, lists her as the daughter of Thomas Fiske and Rebecca Perkins, not their niece.4
