     Caleb Wallis was born on 14 May 1727 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.2 He was baptized on 28 May 1727 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He was married by Rev. Joseph Champney to Rebecca Giles, daughter of Eleazer Giles and Rebecca Chapman, on 24 November 1752 (intentions published 22 October 1752) in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3,4,5 He died "suddenly, while ringing the 'Old South Church Bell'" in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, on 9 February 1780 at age 52.6,7,5 He was buried on 11 February 1780 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.8

     Bartholomew Wallis was born on 6 October 1779 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1,2 He married Fanny Foster, daughter of Daniel Foster and Judith Woodberry, on 13 December 1798 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3,2,4 He died from lung fever (i.e., pneumonia) on 12 November 1863 at age 84, two days after his wife Fanny died from the same illness, in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.5
     He was a cordwainer (i.e., cobbler).5

     Israel Wallis was born on 2 July 1787 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 He was married by Rev. Abiel Abbott to Lydia Burnham on 9 March 1816 (Beverly town clerk records say 19 March 1816) in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3,4 He died from "lung fever" (i.e., pneumonia) on 6 February 1866 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 78.2
     He was a farmer.2

However, he and Polly may have had two additional children. Beverly, Massachusetts, vital records includes the entry "Trask, ch. Israel, bur. Aug. 11, 1812, a. 2 w."      Lydia Wallis was born on 30 April 1799 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1,2 She married Joseph Pearson on 15 March 1827 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3,2 She died from consumption (i.e., tuberculosis) on 28 January 1861 in East Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, at age 61.4
     She and Joseph had at least one child, Mary Ellen (b 17 June 1828).5

     Augusta Wallis was born on 26 October 1801 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1,2 She married William Goodridge, son of William Goodridge and Mary (?), on 6 December 1825 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.3,2 She died from stomach cancer at home at 333 Cabot St. in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, on 25 June 1891 at age 89.4
     She and William had the following known children: Francis Augusta (b 13 September 1827), William Henry (b 5 December 1828, d 30 November 1844), Calvin (b 19 December 1830), Mary Elizabeth (b 9 February 1832), Sarah (b 22 April 1835), Charles (b 9 August 1837), Ellen (b 6 May 1840), a daughter (b 4 June 1843).5

     William Goodridge was born on 21 January 1803.3 He married Augusta Wallis, daughter of Bartholomew Wallis and Fanny Foster, on 6 December 1825 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1,2 He died from cholera on 29 October 1850 in Sacramento, Sacramento Co., California, at age 47.4,3
