The identification of this Nathaniel's wife as Nancy is tentative. It's based solely on the location of their family record in the Beverly Town Clerk's records, immediately after the family record for his parents Eleazar Wallis and Hannah Woodberry. And it's not clear what Nancy's surname was. Beverly Vital Records lists a marriage for Nathaniel Wallis and Nancy Bailey on 24 November 1811. She's called "Mrs." in their marriage intentions, and "Miss" in their marriage record. However, the death record for their daughter Mary lists her parents as Nathaniel W. Wallis and Nancy Thorndike. No relevant marriage record has been found for Nathaniel Wallis and Nancy Thorndike, or for Nancy Thorndike and a man named Bailey.
