     Richard Bowditch Wigglesworth was born on 25 April 1891 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.² He married Florence Joyes Booth, daughter of Percy N. Booth and Florence Coleman Curd, on 30 April 1931 in New York, New York.²

     Elizabeth Swann Bowditch was born on 14 August 1891 at Goodwin House, Beverly Farms, Essex Co., Massachusetts.^1,3 She married Augustus Hemenway Eustis, son of William Ellery Channing Eustis and Edith Hemenway, on 30 October 1923 in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.^4,5,3 She died on 13 July 1957 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, at age 65.⁵ She was buried at Milton Cemetery (lot 921, grave 8) in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.⁶
     She and her husband Augustus are listed living with Augustus's father in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, in the 1930 census, along with their children and eight servants.⁷ They are again listed there in the 1940 census, apparently in the same house after Augustus's father's death, again with their children, and with a cook, two maids, and a servant.⁸ She and Augustus are listed a second time in 1940, as guests at the Oak Hall Hotel in Tryon, Polk Co., North Carolina.⁹

     William Ingersoll Bowditch was born on 8 December 1893 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.¹ He married Helen LaForge, daughter of Lawrence LaForge and Fannie Carryer, on 24 February 1934 in West Newton, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.¹
     He graduated in 1916 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, with a B.S. degree.¹

     Helen LaForge was born on 14 May 1897 in Alfred, Allegany Co., New York.¹ She married first (?) Eldridge.¹ She married second William Ingersoll Bowditch, son of William Ernestus Bowditch and Margaret Lyon Swann, on 24 February 1934 in West Newton, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Richard Lyon Bowditch was born on 11 October 1900 in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.² He married Mabel Lowell Rantoul, daughter of Edward Lambert Rantoul and Lois Burnett, on 11 May 1929 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.²
     He was president of several coal and transportation companies.²

     Sarah Higginson Bowditch was born on 3 February 1905 in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.² She married Thomas A. Gonder, son of Thomas A. Gonder and Annie West, on 30 June 1939 at the First Parish Church in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.³ She died on 21 July 1966 at Memorial Hospital in Blue Hill, Hancock Co., Maine, at age 61.⁴
     She was educated at the Milton Academy in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts, and St. Timothy's School in Stevenson, Baltimore Co., Maryland,⁴ before going on to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1931¹, and with a medical degree in 1935.⁴ She also earned a master's from the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston in 1948.⁴
     At the time of her marriage in 1939 she was a resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.⁵ She joined the British Medical Service as a medical officer at the outbreak of World War II, and later moved to the U.S. Army Medical Corps, retiring as a colonel. She was awarded the Bronze Star for her work as an assistant military attache at the American Embassy in London.⁴
     She was assistant director of the venereal disease division of the Massachusetts Dept. of Public Health in 1949, then returned to Johns Hopkins Hospital, working for the Army as a civilian. From 1957 to 1959 she served as assistant chief of health and welfare for a U.S. aid mission to Haiti. At the time of her death she was chief of health data in the preventive medicine division at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, Montgomery Co., Maryland.⁴
     She lived primarily in Washington, D.C., and spent summers at Isle au Haut, Knox Co., Maine. In the 1940s she and her brother Richard and sister Elizabeth donated most of the family's land on the island to the National Park Service, and it is now part of Acadia National Park.⁴

     Elizabeth Thompson Forster was born on 12 April 1874 in Charlestown, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.¹ She married Frederick Channing Bowditch, son of William Ingersoll Bowditch and Sarah Rhea Higginson, on 20 January 1897 in Milton, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.¹

     Harry Vinton Long was born on 26 February 1857 in Roxbury, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts.^1,2 He married Susan Higginson Bowditch, daughter of William Ingersoll Bowditch and Sarah Rhea Higginson, on 17 November 1880 in Brookline, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts.³ He died on 10 February 1949 in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, at age 91.⁴ He was buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery (Tulip Path, Lot 1208, Grave GUS) in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.⁵
