He attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Anne Arundel Co., Maryland, from 1873 to 1875, then Harvard University in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1880, and a master's degree the following year.1,2 He taught at the Boston Latin School in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, from 1883 until his retirement in 1926, and was named head of the Latin department in 1913.1

He graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, with an A.B. degree in 1896, and an LL.B. degree in 1898.1 He was a lawyer, in a partnership with his wife's cousin Robert Bowditch Stone.1

He graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, with an A.B. degree in 1889, and with an M.D. degree in 1894.1 He was Chief Surgeon at the Children's Hospital in Boston, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, and from 1925 to 1927 served as President of the Massachusetts Medical Society.1
During World War I he served as a surgeon at Camp Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina.1
