She and her husband Charles are listed in Geneseo, Livingston Co., New York, in the 1870 census.6 They moved to Boston in November 18727, where they lived the rest of their lives. They were at 99 Moss Hill Rd. in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood from at least 1900 to 1920, and were apparently fairly wealthy. Their census entries include from 2-4 servants, mostly Irish women.8,9,10,11 She continued to live there after her husband's death, along with her daughter Cornelia.12
