     Apphia Leach was baptized on 28 April 1776 at the First Parish Unitarian Church in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.1 She died from consumption (i.e., tuberculosis), unmarried, on 15 August 1810 (the Leach genealogy says 16 August 1810) in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts, at age 34.4,2 She was buried at Central Cemetery in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts.5
